Quitting Smoking Advertisement Campaigns
While most offline ads about smoking are for particular brands of cigarettes, there are still people who dedicate time, money and energy to make this world a better place. Two such people are Linda Artemchuk and Melissa Utreras who have put together a campaign geared towards helping people quit smoking or staying quit.
The campaign invites smokers to post a photo of themselves along with a commitment to quit. The image and message are then sent to a system that posts them on huge billboard screens in Manhattan’s Times Square. How’s that for public peer pressure ?
